December

Happy December Everyone!

I sure hope that it's a happy month, so far this month (in the few hours we have been in it) it has been real crappy. I was bugged with everything from my mascara not working well, my hair looking like crap two days in a row (welcome to long hair), and my clothes being annoying. Also we have hardly any food, so it was a very frustrating morning.

Coming to work trying to make it a better day, I just got stuck behind crappy drivers, one of which was a cop, Ugh. Plus it's freezing outside. Double Ugh.

Once I am at work things are okay until I start working on my lectures for class, and I just can't focus, I am burned out and have so much to do I don't know where to start. To top it off I found out a lady at work's son's girl friend is having a boy (had the ultrasound yesterday) and he has Spinabifida (spelling??). It's just such a sad situation. It's all around a downer day and it's only 9:43 am.

What can I learn from this. Well... Makeup is stupid no one needs it, clothes are just dumb and no matter what you put on it won't fit right so just wear the first thing you put on, hair has a mind of it's own, be glad I have all of the above. As for the drivers, I just need to leave a few minutes earlier tomorrow.

The rest, I just need to remember Christ and his suffering for us. He loves us so much that he made it possible for us to be as imperfect as we are but still repent daily and become better so we can return to our Heavenly Father. In regards to the child with Spinabifida, if his parents do decide to abort him, he will be made whole again with his father in heaven, he is a choice son of our Heavenly Father and this is a blessing to be able to have something like that to humble his parents and to bring them together in times like this and to be shielded from the wickedness of the 'worldly' things that we face all the time.

There is always good among the bad things. In all I think this is a perfect way to start this month of celebration of life and especially our Savior.

Please remember, Christmas is about Christ. Not all the commercialism that we see on T.V or in the stores. I challenge all of you to find someone to give an extra special something to, possibly a co-worker someone in your ward, or someone you don't know. Share that love with someone you otherwise wouldn't.

Happy December Everyone.

Today is going to be a good as I make it to be (a reminder my mom always told me.)
